Being conscious of where your food is grown can make a huge impact on your carbon footprint. By choosing Australian grown as often as we can, the environmental impact is minimised.
Buying fresh fruit and veg that's in season can also make a massive difference. Out of season produce is often airfreighted from overseas meaning the environmental impact of something as innocent as a banana can be enormous compared to a locally grown option.
